An Important Announcement regarding Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease: All rabbits entered in the fair this year will require proof of vaccination against RHD. The Shamrock 4-H club has arranged for a vet to provide vaccinations on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Thornhill Community Grounds. There are only 25 vaccinations available. They are $40-55.00 depending on the number of rabbits vaccinated. Please contact Solveig Adair by email to enquire about the vaccinations- email@example.com.
Open livestock classes are open to anyone. Please read the rules and regulations regarding the livestock you wish to enter.
Rabbit and poultry entries must be pre-registered by Wednesday, Sept. 5th. See the form at the bottom of this page.
Livestock exhibits may be brought to the barn between 4 and 6:30 pm Friday evening (Sept. 7)
All rabbits and poultry need to be inspected and caged by 6:30 pm Friday.
Please read the rules to ensure that your animals are eligible for entry.
Please check livestock for health issues and parasites before bringing them to the grounds. Livestock with lice/mites will be refused entry.

Rabbit Agility: Climb, tunnel, and dig to become the most agile rabbit of them all!
Our rabbit obstacle course is safe and fun for rabbits of all ability levels.
Rabbit Jumping: Showjumping for rabbits is an important rabbit athletic event in Europe and we are proud to provide the opportunity for rabbits here in Terrace. Bring your bunny and see how well it can attempt our jumps!
Some training is preferred.
For rabbit safety, no rabbits under the age of four months are permitted.

All rabbits must be healthy and free of lice or mites. All rabbit toenails must be clipped. The Fair reserves the right to inspect and reject animals in inappropriate condition.
Competitors are responsible for the care of their animals, including feed, water and hay for the duration of the Fair. All entrants must discuss the security of their rabbits with the Barn Supervisor.
All exhibitors are expected to help clean the barn, starting at 5:00 pm on Saturday. Exhibits must be picked up and cages cleaned.

Breed must be stated. An exhibitor may enter more than one entry in the class, provided each entry is a different breed, to a maximum of three entries per class.
Birds must be owned by exhibitor not less than 30 days prior to the show.
Birds must be in good health and free of leg mites. The Fair reserves the right to inspect and reject poultry in inappropriate condition.
Exhibitors must provide their own feed and care of poultry during the Fair.
